Unnamed Tributary

Boys portage raft through log jam

A river, which we don’t name. It is a tributary of the Nushagak River, which R.A Beattie, my daughter Kate Rutherford, and I pioneered. It requires a portage to access the river and other portages around complex logjams. The payoff is “Old Growth Rainbow Trout”, as well terrific Grayling, Char, and Salmon fishing. This is a wilderness challenge for experts.
