South Fork

South Fork1

The South Fork is a nearly inaccessible fork of a very wild tundra river draining into Kuskokwim Bay, an hour flight west of Dillingham. It requires an overland portage and is suitable for the most adventuresome anglers under optimal water levels. The payoff is fishing water that goes months or years between anglers. I am the only one who can safely take you here. Others attempting the south fork have turned back. It requires special equipment and knowledge. Grayling, Rainbow, Dolly Varden, King, Sockeye, Coho, Chum, and Pink Salmon. Extremely remote and wild. Fishes well with mouse patterns.
