Extreme Fly Fishing Productions Co. was founded in Alaska in 2005 to produce graphic, literary, film, painting, and multimedia presentations about wilderness, the pursuit of wilderness fly fishing, and the conservation of native fish stocks.

• John Merritt completed his tundra creek short story. "The Creek", in press.
• Filmmaker R.A. Beattie completed year one and year two documentary.

In July, fiction author John Merritt will work with Mark on a wilderness fiction short story set in the Bristol Bay region of Alaska. Hank Ashforth, President of the board of Oregon Trout, will provide camera support. Joe Merrill, Chairman of the board of Connecticut Trout Unlimited will row a second boat with camp gear. The group will spend 6 days gathering material, taking photographs, and evenings writing & reading drafts.
